What is GameFi?

GameFi, short for game finance combines elements of gaming and decentralized finance (DeFi), allowing players to earn cryptocurrency and other digital assets by playing blockchain-based games.

Originally, it described games where earning was the main focus. Now, it's used for most blockchain games.
